just to let you know E.C.M.L have told the drivers at central station we have a 12month contract, just waiting for the paper work to be posted out,they had promised us a 24 month contract, I think this is due to the 9 million pound refurbishment of the portico and neville street (the plans are in civic center ) then the taxis are going to be moved around the back of the station,we will miss out on all the passing trade and with a private hire office being in place where it is the central station will not be profitable to the hackney carriages of newcastle.
