Three men who robbed a taxi driver are being sought by police on Tyneside.They had been collected from outside Westbourne Club in Newcastle early on Saturday then driven a short distance to Byker Street in Walker.
The 34-year-old driver was threatened with what is believed to be a firearm and cash was demanded.
A struggle took place and he suffered a broken nose and cracked ribs. The men made off with an undisclosed amount of cash.
Anyone who saw the silver Ford Mondeo parked in Byker Street at about 0320 BST is asked to contact Northumbria Police.

So the question is, why do we not all (ph and hacks) ask the council, WOT ABOUT “CCTV” in all cars ?????????????
